Ad of the Day (Pepsi Max)

I've seen this ad once before, then i try to search in 'yourtube'. what the thing that I like in this ad is the creative of the effect(behind the scene). Did you see, how they made it.

This ad had launch few years ago by 'PEPSI' (Pepsi Max). Its based on a popular japanese tv show where people use their bodies and props to do cool and interesting things. They frequently us people in black suits who are "invisable" to do many of the manuvers. Many of the things in the commercial are stolen from a particular skit in which a karate master shows off his talents to his students.

Some one also said that this ad have copied the idea from japanese show name 'Ping-Pong' (Matrix Style)

So, I got it here and Let See!! What do you think !!!

The Use of Sex Ads

The Advert clips above are the example of The Use of Sex in Advertising, the top one from Axe 'Click' and the second form Lynx with its slogan 'Spray more Get more'.

The use of sex in advertising can be highly overt or extremely subtle: from relatively explicit display of sexual acts, down to the use of basic cosmetics to enhance attractive features.

In recent years ads for jeans, perfumes and many other products have featured provocative images that were designed to elicit sexual responses from as large a cross section of the population as possible, espacially in men perfumes.

Did you Know ??

- Women follow their nose when searching for partner. A survey has found that women rate the smell of a man as more important than his looks as it apparently indicates how healthy he is.

- British men worry about their self image, with personal freshness, bad breath and body odour causing the most stress.

- It's official, men are taking more of an interest in how they smell, look and attract the opposite sex -the male toiletries market is worth £422 million and increases by 2% each year.

Ad of the Day. (Transport for London)

Old

Lastest

"Pay your fare- Do not risk a criminal conviction"

This is a lastest Ads from London Transport of avoid penalty and getting caught.

Transport for London (TfL) has launched a hard-hitting campaign to tackle fare evasion on the transport network by reminding people they risk a criminal conviction if they don't pay for a ticket.

Adverts will show actors in mugshots as 'fare evaders' with a discription of where they were caught on the network. The campaign will include adverts in the press and see posters at Tube station, bus shelters across the network and adverts on the side of buses.

Adverts not aim to get the money directly from the costomers. But they need customers pay the collect fare for their journeys, fare evaders is a serious problem and costs TfL million of pounds every year across the bus and Tube networks.

In 2006, London Underground issued more than 30,000 penalty fares and a futher 18,000 people were prosecuted by London Underground and the British Transport Police for travelling without a valid ticket.

Ad of the Day (Bridgestone)

I went to the Crufts 2007 at Birmingham today. It is the Biggest Dog show I have ever seen. the fantantic dogs around the world are come to this competition, I have met the huge variety of breeds of dog, from the very smallest to the biggest, from family pets to working dogs and many dogs I have never seen befor.

The Crufts made me think of one of Thai ad. They used dogs to be a presenter of ad, the product of this ad is "Bridgestone" tyre, the ad didn't used any language but people can understand by the story which memtion about slogan of product itself "designed to save lives" at the end of ad.

I think it really clever to used a nice dog as Golden Retriever in the ad to draw attention of audience to the ad.

Ad of the Day ( HONDA )

I have think about the creative Ads that I've seen, one it come up in my mind is this Ads from Honda. Back to 2003, it was the first time I've seen this ads in the cinema, it's the best creative advertising that I've ever seen. It was show series of brand and product ads that explain Honda's 'Power Of Dreams' philosophy.

The 2 minute commercial, entitled "cog", uses over 85 individual parts of the new Accord which precisely and intricately "knock on to" and interact with one another to form a complex chain reaction which lasts until the new Accord is finally revealed.

This is indeed all real. The wheels rolling uphill do so because they were counterbalanced (inside the tire) at the apex, so as to roll forward. Even more surprising, all of the parts (with the exception of some things, like the jack holding up a plank, etc.) were taken from a number of disassembled Accords donated to the ad agency (even the balance weight inside the wheels was made up of extra parts).

Hope you'll enjoy watching it.
